This is a great way to get to know and serve other women in our church and see the power of prayer flourish. The PIT Crew will meet on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 5:00 here at the church, with an occasional activity planned away from the church,( i.e. dinner, a movie, a girls night out, reaching out to others, missions, a conference, etc.) always with the hope that all women of the church will become involved in this ministry serving and encouraging one another through the power of prayer and Scripture memorization and meditation. 12 in 2012! -On the first day of this New Year, we began the “12 in 2012” that you have been hearing about! We are working together as a church family to memorize a passage from the Bible each month of this year. Each passage is a small number of verses (e.g. from about 1 to 5 verses), and we have a whole month to work on hiding the Word of God in our hearts through memorization. January’s scripture passage was John 1:1-4 The passage for February 2012 is…
John 17:1-3
When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you, 2 since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him. 3 And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
